- 12–16 large pasta shells
- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Cook the pasta shells in boiling salted water until al dente; drain.
- In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat, seasoning with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Drain excess fat, then mix in ricotta and half of the mozzarella.
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Spread marinara sauce in a baking dish. Stuff each shell with the beef mixture and place seam-side up in the dish.
- Pour remaining marinara sauce over shells and top with leftover mozzarella and Parmesan.
- Cover with foil and bake for about 25 minutes until bubbly.
