  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 cup hot water
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 2 tbsp butter (melted)
  • Cooking spray

Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine hot water, melted butter, sugar, and salt. Bring to a boil.
  2. Remove from heat and whisk in flour and baking powder until smooth. Allow to cool slightly.
  3. Beat in eggs one at a time until fully incorporated.
  4. Transfer dough to a piping bag fitted with a star tip.
  5. Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C) and line the basket with parchment paper or spray with cooking spray.
  6. Pipe strips of dough (about six inches long) into the fryer basket, spacing them apart.
  7. Cook for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown, flipping halfway through.
